Tolerant, lightweight, and versatile, the BIRDY2 is the perfect first glider for ambitious new pilots. More performance-oriented than the EONA4 while offering superior passive safety compared to the LEAF3, the BIRDY2 is an excellent choice for all pilots looking to progress in the best conditions after their school training.

Semi-light design

Designed from a mix of lightweight and durable materials, the BIRDY2 combines durability with lightness. It is built to withstand the many hours of inflation and ground handling exercises.

Developed alongside the WILD 2 (which we’ll tell you about soon), a glider built for challenges like the X-Alps, the BIRDY2 benefits from innovations drawn from the R&D of a high-performance wing, including improvements in internal cuts and an optimized suspension system, which contribute to a significant weight reduction.

Its ergonomic risers make pre-flight checks easier. The connection between the risers and the lines is now made with maillons rather than connects, simplifying handling when necessary.

The BIRDY2 has passed double certification in load tests, with the smaller sizes being tested separately from the larger ones to best adapt to the specifics of each. This allows for the use of materials and lines tailored to each size: thinner lines on the smaller wings help reduce drag, thereby maximizing performance.

The BIRDY2 is available in 6 sizes instead of the usual 5, allowing for optimal positioning within the PTV range. It is also available in an XXS size, with a weight range of 50-65 kg, to suit smaller pilots.

It is available in 3 colors: Azura, Oasis, and Ibiscus.
